Beef Burger Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable or com oil - 2 x 15 ml spoons/2 tablespoons | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium | |
| Tomatoes - 1 x 400 g/14 oz can | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Frozen bread dough | 450 Gram | |
| Dried oregano - 2 x 5 ml spoons/2 teaspoons | ||
| Beefburgers - 6 , cooked and cut into thin strips | ||
| Cheddar Cheese | 50 Gram | |
| Parmesan cheese - 1-2 x 15 ml spoons/1-2 tablespoons, grated | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Make two equal divisions of dough and roll each piece on floured surface in shape of circle measuring 10 inch.
2.Put the dough on greased baking sheet.
3.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
MAKING
4.In a pan, heat oil and saute onions in it until tender.
5.Put tomatoes, salt and pepper to it and let it cook for 10 more minutes until thick.
6.Put the tomato mixture equally on both circles by leaving a trail at the edge.
7.Add a sprinkling of oregano and put the beefburger strips in wheel fashion.
8.Put cheddar cheese sprinkling and bake for 30 minutes.
9.Once done, add a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese and bake for 10 more minutes until the cheese melts.
10.Let the pizza cool on wire rack.
11.Serve immediately or freeze by keeping each in foil and then in freezer bag.
SERVING
12.Serve warm.
13.If using frozen, thaw, reheat for 30 minutes and then serve.
