Beef With Oyster Sauce Recipe

|Dry sherry||1 Tablespoon|
|Beef||1 Pound, cut into 1/4 inch strips (chuck or round)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Green pepper||1 , cut into 1/4 inch strips|
|Canned water chestnuts||8 , sliced|
|Oyster sauce||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon (bottled)|

Add beef and marinate 20 to 30 minutes.
Heat oil in the wok and stirfry the green pepper strips and water chestnuts 1 to 2 minutes.
Push aside and stirfry the beef 2 to 3 minutes.
Return the green pepper and water chestnuts to the beef in the wok.
Gently stir in the oyster sauce.
Heat through and serve at once garnished with nuts, if desired.
