3/4 pound beef, sliced thin
 
2 tablespoons oil
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
1/2 cup chicken stock
 
3/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
 
Thickening:
 
2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon soy sauce
 
1/4 cup water

Directions

Heat a pan with the oil, salt and pepper and when it is very hot add the beef and saute for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add the stock and the mushrooms, cover and cook for 3 minutes.
Add the thickening to the meat, and when it becomes thick and smooth, serve immediately in a shallow bowl.
