Beef With Hot Corn Relish Recipe
Beef with hot corn relish is a cooked beef steak preparation made with whole kernal corn. Prepared in a skillet with bell peppers, white wine vinegar and corn along with green onions, the beef with hot corn relish can be served with dinner rolls or sliced loaves.
Ingredients
1 lb. boneless beef chuck top blade steaks, cut 1/2 inch thick
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1/2 red bell pepper, cut into1/2 inch pieces
1 can (8 3/4 ozs.) whole kernel corn, undrained
1 tbs. white wine vinegar
1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Directions
Trim excess fat frombeef top blade steaks.
Heat oil in lg.nonstick skillet over medium heat, add red bell pepper.
Cook and stir 3 minutes.
Stir in corn vinegar and ground red pepper continue cooking, uncovered, 2- 3 minutes or until liquid is slightly red uced.
Remove from pan; keep warm.
Heat same pan over medium high heat.
Add steaks; pan broil 3 minutes or to desired doneness, turning once.
Season with garlic salt.
Add corn mixture and onions to pan.
Cook 1 minute.
Heat oil in lg.nonstick skillet over medium heat, add red bell pepper.
