Beef Paprika Recipe

Make Beef Paprika! No other activity will relax you as much as this does. There is not a single month when I don't serve this yummy Main Dish! I am certain both of us will concur that this Beef Paprika is simply scrumptious.

Ingredients

 
2 to 3 pound lean beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
 
2 tablespoons bacon fat or vegetable oil
 
2 to 3 tablespoons water
 
1 6-ounce can tomato paste
 
2 cloves garlic
 
1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
2 green peppers, cut into 1inch strips
 
1 cup sour cream

Directions

Brown beef in hot fat in a large skillet.
Place meat in slow cooker.
Pour off accumulated fat and add water to skillet.
Stir to pick up browned bits.
Add to meat along with tomato paste, garlic, paprika, and salt.
Cover and cook on low about 8 hours.
Add green peppers the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Just before serving, lightly fold in the sour cream.
It need not be uniformly dis tributed.
Serve immediately.
