Beef Paprika Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean beef | 2 pound | |
| 2 tablespoons bacon fat or vegetable oil | ||
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 6 Ounce | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Paprika | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 green peppers, cut into 1inch strips | ||
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Brown beef in hot fat in a large skillet.
Place meat in slow cooker.
Pour off accumulated fat and add water to skillet.
Stir to pick up browned bits.
Add to meat along with tomato paste, garlic, paprika, and salt.
Cover and cook on low about 8 hours.
Add green peppers the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Just before serving, lightly fold in the sour cream.
It need not be uniformly dis tributed.
Serve immediately.
