Ingredients
1/2 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (14 ounce) can sliced carrots, drained
1 (12 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (8-ounce) package shredded mozzarella or Cheddar cheese
8 ounces noodles, cooked, drained
Directions
Brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Add the onion and green pepper; cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper; cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir in half the mozzarella cheese and the noodles.
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
