Beef-Noodle Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| 1 5-oz. pkg. wide noodles | ||
| Green pepper | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter | 5 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 can mushroom soup | ||
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), cubed | |
| Bread slice | 3 , cubed | |
Directions
Brown ground beef.
Boil noodles in salted water until tender; drain.
Saute diced green pepper and onion in the 2 tablespoons butter.
Add ground beef and noodles in saucepan.
Add salt, mushroom soup and tomatoes which have strained through a sieve.
Heat to boiling; add cheese cubes and stir until melted.
Pour into a 2-quart casserole.
Brown bread cubes in remaining butter.
Sprinkle over top of casserole.
Cover; bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until bread is browned and crisp.
