Ingredients
4 pieces of rump steak
1/2 bottle dry red wine
4 tablespoons (80 g) butter or margarine
salt and pepper
4 onions, sliced
3 tablespoons flour
marjoram
nutmeg
Directions
Brown the steaks in the butter or margarine.
Put in a flameproof casserole dish.
Saute the onion in the same fat until transparent.
Sprinkle the flour over the onions and continue cooking until golden brown.
Spread the onions over the meat, pour on the red wine, season with salt, pepper, marjoram and nutmeg.
Cook over a medium heat for about 30 minutes.
