Beef Goulash Recipe

Beef Goulash is a one dish wonder that is a complete meal in itself. It is all there pasta, beef and your favorite seasonings like paprika and black pepper. Enjoy the flavors that go to make it absolutely mouthwatering. A wonderful dish when you have a large gathering.

Ingredients

 
1 lb beef (boneless), cut it into strips
 
2 tbsp cooking oil
 
½ cup onions, finely chopped
 
1 cup corkscrew pasta (cooked as per instructions on the package)
 
2 bell peppers, sliced thin
 
1 can tomatoes (diced)
 
Water as required
 
1 cup beef broth
 
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
 
1 tsp paprika
 
½ tsp sugar
 
½ tsp crushed black pepper
 
1 tbsp all purpose flour

Directions

Take a skillet and add the cooking oil. Add the onions, bell pepper and sauté till the onions turn color and are half done. Add the beef and sauté for approximately five minutes. Add in the can of tomatoes and the beef broth. Mix well till all the ingredients are well blended. Add all the other ingredients. Mix well and let boil. Cover and simmer the dish for about 10-15 minutes. Mix a tbsp of flour in water and mix it into the dish. Let boil and continue doing so till the sauce thickens. Add the cooked pasta into the beef dish and mix well. Your beef goulash is ready to serve.
