Beef With Snow Peas Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) snow peas
4 tbsp (60 ml) oil
2 tsp (10 ml) oyster sauce
1 lb (450 g) rump steak
2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
2 thin slices fresh ginger, shredded
1 tbsp (15 ml) soy sauce
1 red chili pepper, seeded and sliced
Directions
1 Top and tail snow peas and wipe with a damp cloth if necessary. Heat 1 tbsp (15 ml) oil in a wok, add snow peas and stir-fry 1 minute. Add oyster sauce and toss to coat. Remove and keep warm.
2 Trim meat and cut into four pieces. Heat remaining oil, add meat, garlic and ginger and cook until meat is sealed on both sides. Remove and cut meat into strips. Return to the wok and continue stir-frying for a further 5 minutes. Sprinkle with soy sauce.
