Microwaved Beef With Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 pounds bottom round beefsteak, cut in 3/4-inch cubes | ||
| Onions | 3 Small, quartered | |
| 4 firm, ripe tomatoes, quartered, or 1 can (16-ounces) tomatoes | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Wine vinegar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Place browning dish in oven.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH.
Add butter, olive oil and beef cubes.
MICROWAVE 3 to 4 MINUTES on HIGH, or until brown, stirring twice.
Add onions, tomatoes, garlic, vinegar and bay leaves.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 50 MINUTES on '6', or until fork tender, stirring 3 times.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove bay leaves before serving.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH.
