Ingredients

 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon
 Olive oil2 Tablespoon
 2 pounds bottom round beefsteak, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
 Onions3 Small, quartered
 4 firm, ripe tomatoes, quartered, or 1 can (16-ounces) tomatoes
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), finely chopped
 Wine vinegar3 Tablespoon
 Bay leaves2
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Place browning dish in oven.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH.
Add butter, olive oil and beef cubes.
MICROWAVE 3 to 4 MINUTES on HIGH, or until brown, stirring twice.
Add onions, tomatoes, garlic, vinegar and bay leaves.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 50 MINUTES on '6', or until fork tender, stirring 3 times.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove bay leaves before serving.
