Ingredients

 Ground beef1 1/2 Pound
 Onion1 Small, grated
 1 cup finely chopped peeled cooked potatoes
 1/2 cup finely chopped peeled cooked beets
 2 tablespoons bottled hamburger relish
 Egg1
 Evaporated milk1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon
 Butter/Margarine3 Tablespoon

Directions

1. Mix ground beef lightly with onion, potatoes, beets, relish, egg, evaporated milk, salt and pepper until well-blended; shape into 6 patties about 1 inch thick.
2. Pan-fry over medium heat in butter or margarine for 8 minutes on each side for medium, or until meat is done as you like it.
