Beef Tongue With Raisin Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 3- to 4-pound smoked beef tongue | ||
| Stalk celery | 1 | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Onion | 1 Large, quartered | |
| Raisin Sauce | ||
Directions
Place meat, celery, bay leaves and onion in Dutch oven and add enough water to cover.
Cover and cook over low heat, simmering 3-4 hours until meat is tender.
Plunge tongue in cold water.
Peel and chill.
Slice and serve with Raisin Sauce.
