 Butter/Margarine1 Tablespoon
 Ground beef6 Ounce
 1 medium-size yellow onion, peeled and chopped
 Chopped tomatoes2 Small, peeled
 Stalk celery1 , finely chopped
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Black pepper1/8 Teaspoon
 Dried basil1/4 Teaspoon, crumbled
 Dried oregano1/4 Teaspoon, crumbled
 1/3 cup uncooked egg noodles, elbow macaroni, or ziti

Directions

Heat the butter in a heavy 8-inch skillet over moderate heat until bubbly.
Add the beef and onion, and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until the beef has browned and the onion is soft.
Add the tomatoes, celery, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and noodles.
Cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
