Ingredients

 1-1/2 lbs. tender, boneless beef, cubed
 Vegetable oil2 Tablespoon
 Onion1 , sliced
 3 chiles poblano, roasted, peeled, seeded & diced
 Beef broth2/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomato-Chile sauce
 .3 tomatoes (1-1/2 lbs), peeled & diced
 4 chiles serranos, diced
 Onion1/2 , chopped (Tomato-Chile Sauce:)
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), minced (Tomato-Chile Sauce:)
 Vegetable oil1 Tablespoon (Tomato-Chile Sauce:)
 Salt To Taste (Tomato-Chile Sauce:)

Directions

Heat oil in skillet, add beef, brown and cook to about medium-rare.
Remove from skillet and add the onion, chilies, broth and tomato-chile sauce.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Return meat to skillet, heat and serve.
Sauce: Place the tomatoes, chilies, onion and garlic in a blender.
Process until almost pureed.
Heat the oil in a skillet and add the sauce.
Cook about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Season with salt.
