Beef Teriyaki Stir Fry Recipe
Beef teriyaki stir fry is a spicy and savory beef stir fry made with sirloin strips. Marinated and cooked with vegetables with the flavors of teriyaki sauce and garlic, the beef teriyaki stir fry serves as an excellent side in meals.
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds boneless sirloin steak | ||
| Teriyaki sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1/2 Teaspoon, minced | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups diagonally sliced carrots | ||
| 1 1/2 cups diagonally sliced celery | ||
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Hot cooked rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Partially freeze steak; slice diagonally across grain into 3 x 1/4 inch strips.
Combine next 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Add meat; cover and marinate in the refrigerator 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
Pour 1 tablespoon oil around top of preheated wok, coating sides; heat at medium high (325°) for 2 minutes.
Add vegetables and stir fry 4 minutes; remove from wok.
Pour 1 tablespoon oil around top of wok.
Remove steak from marinade, re serving marinade; add steak to wok.
Stir fry until browned.
Combine cornstarch and reserved marinade, stirring well; stir mixture into beef.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Combine vegetables and rice; place on serving dish.
Spoon meat mixture over rice.
