Beef Tenderloin With Summer Savory Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Filet of beef - 2 lbs. | ||
| Mushrooms | 1/2 Pound | |
| Small onions - 2 | ||
| Paprika | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Red wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Beef stock or broth - 1/2 cup | ||
| Summer savory | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Parsley - for garnish, chopped | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Cut filet into thin strips.
MAKING
2 In a pan, heat the butter until foaming.
3 Add in the beef strips and sauté over high heat.
4 Add in sliced mushrooms and chopped onions.
5 Cook gently, until the onions are soft.
6 Add in paprika and flour, mix well.
7 Gradually pour in the wine and stock, stir to mix.
8 Sprinkle in the herbs and combine well.
9 Cook gently over low heat.
10 Correct the seasoning.
SERVING
10 Serve at once.
