Microwave Beef Stroganoff Recipe
Beef Stroganoff is a unique dish that you can serve at home for a grand dinner. I made this for my beef crazy husband for our anniversary dinner and he loved it! Try the Beef Stroganoff and you will understand why!
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Large, thinly sliced | |
| 1 pound boneless steak, cut into thin strips | ||
| Mushrooms | 1/4 pound, sliced | |
| Beef broth | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 to 1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt | ||
| Sauce | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Heat butter in 12x8-inch dish at HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
Add onion.
Cook at HIGH 2 to 2 1/2 minutes; stir once.
Add beef and mushrooms.
Cook at MEDIUM-HIGH 6 1/2 to 7 minutes; stir twice.
Drain and reserve liquid; add enough broth to reserved liquid to equal 3/4 cup.
Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper.
Into dish, blend in flour, then broth mixture.
Cook at MEDIUM 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, or until sauce is thickened.
Blend in sour cream and browning sauce and heat, if necessary, at MEDIUM 2 to 3 minutes.
