Beef Stroganoff Recipe
Ingredients
| Tenderloin steak | 1/2 Pound | |
| Flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Fat | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 3 | |
| Tomato juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Consommé - 1 can | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mushrooms | 1/2 Pound, sliced | |
| Burgundy wine (optional) - 3 tablespoons | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. Cut meat in thin strips and toss in a bowl with flour, salt and pepper.
2. In a pan brown meat and onions in 3 tablespoons hot fat.
3. Add tomato juice, consomme and sugar.
4. Reduce heat and simmer until meat is tender.
5. Blend in sour cream, mushrooms and wine and heat without letting it to boil.
SERVING
6. Serve over buttered noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
