Beef Stew Burgundy Recipe
Ingredients
2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-1/2 inch cubes
2 t peanut oil
1 clove garlic
1 medium onion, sliced
2 c stock
1 c burgundy
3 t nutritional yeast
1 t thyme, oregano and vege-salt
1 lb small white onions
Directions
Brown meat in oil.
Add garlic, sliced onion, vegetable stock, and wine; simmer covered for 2-1 /2 hours.
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the nutritional yeast, seasonings, small onions, and more wine if needed.
