Beef Steaks Parmesan Recipe

Beef steaks parmesan is a cheesy beef steak recipe pepared with basil for flavor. Cooked over the flame and finished in the oven with a filling of cheese and stuffing mix, the beef steak parmesan is savory and comforting as well as filling as a meal.

Ingredients

 
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
 
1 teaspoon dried whole basil
 
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
 
2 (1 pound) top round steaks, 1/2 inch thick
 
1/2 teaspoon pepper
 
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
 
2 eggs
 
1 tablespoon milk
 
1/2 cup herb seasoned stuffing mix
 
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
1/3 cup all purpose flour
 
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
 
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
Hot cooked noodles

Directions

Combine spaghetti sauce, basil, and garlic powder in a saucepan.
Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Set aside.
Trim excess fat from steaks.
Sprinkle steaks with pepper, and pound to 1/8 inch thickness using a meat mallet.
Cut each steak into 4 pieces.
Place about 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese in center of 4 steak pieces.
Top with remaining steak pieces; secure with wooden picks.
Combine eggs and milk; beat well.
Combine stuffing mix and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
Dredge steaks in flour, and dip in egg mixture; dredge in stuffing mixture.
Brown steaks in hot oil.
Remove to lightly greased shallow 2 quart casserole; top with sauce, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
