Beef Standing Rib Roast Recipe
Ingredients
| 4- to 6-pound beef standing rib roast | ||

Directions
1. Set roast, fat side down, on a roast rack set in a 2-quart glass baking dish. Season roast, if desired, with salt and pepper. Cover any bones that extend from meat with aluminum foil. Cover roast with waxed paper. Cook in microwave oven for one-half of cooking time (see Meat Cooking Chart for time and settings).
2. After one-half of cooking time is completed, turn roast over, fat side up. Insert Temperature Probe in center of meat. Cook covered in microwave oven set at temperature for desired doneness and at ROAST.
3. Remove roast from oven. Cover meat with foil and allow to stand 20 to 30 minutes for heat to equalize; during this time internal temperature will rise.
