 Spanish onion1 Large, peeled, sliced into rings
 Dry red wine1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Rub filets mignons with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in heavy frying pan.
Add steaks; brown on both sides.
Reduce heat to simmer.
Add onions and wine.
Cover skillet tightly; simmer steaks 30 minutes
