3 pounds lean short ribs
 
2 teaspoons ginger
 
2 tablespoons honey
 
2 tablespoons soy sauce
 
1 garlic clove, minced
 
1 cup pineapple juice

Directions

1) Mix the ginger, honey, soy sauce, garlic and 1/2 cup pineapple juice together.
2) Place the ribs in the mixture and marinate for 20 minutes, turning often.
3) Remove ribs and place in a broiling pan for 30 minutes. Reserve mixture. Baste often with mixture, turning ribs a few times during cooking.
4) Add the remaining 1/2 cup pineapple juice to the pan drippings and bring to a boil. Use as a sauce for the cooked ribs.
