Ingredients

 500g rump steak cut into thin strips
 Onion1 , chopped
 Ginger2 Teaspoon, chopped
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm)
 2 teaspoons tamarind sauce or lemon juice
 Cumin powder1 Teaspoon
 Curry powder1 Teaspoon
 Quarter teaspoon ground cardamon
 Half teaspoon Garam masala
 Coconut milk2 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

1. Thread equal quantities of meat onto 8 bamboo skewers, place in shallow dish. Puree remaining ingredients in blender or processor. Coat satays with mixture. Leave to stand covered for two to three hours.
2. Remove satays from marinade. Place on rack in shallow dish cook on HIGH for six minutes. Turn over and baste halfway through cooking.
