Beef Satay Recipe
Ingredients
| 500g rump steak cut into thin strips | ||
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Ginger | 2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| 2 teaspoons tamarind sauce or lemon juice | ||
| Cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Quarter teaspoon ground cardamon | ||
| Half teaspoon Garam masala | ||
| Coconut milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
1. Thread equal quantities of meat onto 8 bamboo skewers, place in shallow dish. Puree remaining ingredients in blender or processor. Coat satays with mixture. Leave to stand covered for two to three hours.
2. Remove satays from marinade. Place on rack in shallow dish cook on HIGH for six minutes. Turn over and baste halfway through cooking.
