Microwave Beef Rolls Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage | ||
| Soft bread crumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Ground sage | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Chopped basil | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| 4 beef cubed steaks (about 1 pound) | ||
| Tomato soup | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Hot cooked rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Crumble sausage into 2-quart casserole. Cover loosely and microwave on high 3 to 4 minutes, breaking up and stirring after 2 minutes, until no longer pink; drain.
2. Mix in bread crumbs, celery, onion, sage and 1 teaspoon basil. Spread about 1/2 cup mixture over each beef steak. Roll up, beginning at short side; secure with wooden picks.
3. Place beef rolls in 2-quart casserole. Mix soup, water and 1 teaspoon basil; pour over beef rolls.
4. Cover tightly and microwave on medium (50%) 25 to 30 minutes, rearranging beef rolls after 15 minutes, until beef is tender. Let stand covered 5 minutes. Serve beef rolls on rice; pour sauce over beef rolls.
