Beef Lengua With Mushroom And Peas Recipe Video
My simple and yummy version of cooking BEEF LENGUA. Not at all difficult, but extremely delicious.
Ingredients
* BEEF TONGUE €“ 800gr.
* SLICED MUSHROOM €“ 300gr.
* GREEN PEAS €“ 100gr.
* CHOPPED ONION €“ 1 PC.
* CHOPPED GARLIC €“ 3 cloves
* GROUND MIXED PEPPER SEEDS €“ ¼ tsp.
* BUTTER CREAM MILK - 400gr. (In alternative NESTLE CREAM)
* MUSHROOM POWDER - 5 tsp.
* BROTH CUBE €“ 1 PC. (Vegetable flavour)
* OLIVE OIL €“ 3 tbsp.
* BASIL €“ 1 tbsp.
Directions
Boil the beef tongue for 40 to 50 minutes then remove from fire and let it cool down, peel the white skin of the tongue and slice.
Heat the olive oil in large non-stick frying pan, saute the onions and the garlic, add the sliced beef tongue, the grounded mixed pepper seeds, the basil, the broth cube, add water and bring to boil until tongue is very tender.
Once the water reduced to small quantity, add the sliced mushroom, the green peas, the butter cream milk or nestle cream, cover the pan and simmer until mushrooms are cooked, add the dissolved mushroom powder and boil for additional 2min.
