Beef Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds beef boneless top loin or sirloin steak | ||
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 small fresh pineapple, cut into 1/2-inch pieces | ||
| 36 fresh mushroom caps | ||
| 1 large green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces | ||
| Honey | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Trim fat from beef steak. Cut beef into 1-inch cubes. Toss beef cubes and soy sauce. Alternate beef cubes, pineapple and vegetables on each of eighteen 8-inch wooden skewers.
2. Mix honey, mustard and cloves in 2-cup measure. Microwave uncovered on medium-high (70%) about 1 minute or until warm.
3. Brush kabobs with honey mixture. Place 9 of the kabobs on 10-inch plate. Microwave uncovered on medium-high (70%) 7 to 10 minutes, turning kabobs over, rearranging and brushing with honey mixture after 4 minutes, until beef is almost done; keep warm. Repeat with remaining kabobs. Garnish each kabob with cherry tomato if desired.
