Beef Jerky Recipe

Ingredients
2 lbs. flank steak
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon
Pepper to taste
Directions
Trim fat and gristle from meat.
Pound meat until 1/8" thick.
Cut lengthwise into 1" strips.
Combine other ingredients and marinate meat in this mixture for at least 1 hour, the longer the better.
Place meat strips on oven rack, placing foil on bottom rack to catch drips.
Bake at 150° 9-10 hours.
Store covered.
