Ingredients

 Vegetable oil3 Tablespoon
 Small white onions - 12, peeled
 Lean stewing beef - 2 pounds, cubed
 Flour1 Tablespoon
 Dry red wine2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Beef bouillon - 1 cup
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 Tomato Paste1 Tablespoon
 Thyme1/4 Teaspoon
 Bay leaf1
 Parsley1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Mushrooms1/2 pound, quartered

Directions

MAKING
1. In a large frying pan heat oil.
2. Add onions and sauté lightly. Drain out onion from pan.
3. Mix beef cubes and sauté till brown.
4. Sprinkle flour over it and toss.
5. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
6. Add wine, bouillon, garlic, tomato paste, and seasonings. Stir well.
7. Cover and simmer for 3 hours until tender.
8. Add some more bouillon if required.
9. Add onions at the end.
10. Mix mushroom during the last 15 minutes.
11. Add Sauce Thickener if the sauce is too thin.
12. Adjust seasonings.

SERVING
13. Serve.
