Beef In Horseradish Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds round steak cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes | ||
| 2 tablespoons butter, margarine, or salad oil | ||
| 1 large onion sliced thin | ||
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups consomme | ||
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Pint | |
| Radish | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Teaspoon, minced | |
Directions

Brown the meat in the fat and put in a heavy casserole, along with the onion, curry powder, ginger, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and consomme.
Cover and bake in a slow oven, 300°, about 3 hours, or until very tender.

Stir in sour cream, horseradish, and parsley.

If you prefer the sauce a little thicker, knead a little flour and butter or margarine together and stir in until well blended and thickened.
