Beef Ho Fan With Noodles Recipe Video

HO FAN is a wide rice noodle and I'm sharing with you my simple way of cooking it.

* BEEF TENDERLOIN - 250 gr.
 
* WIDE RICE NOODLES / HO FAN - 375 gr.
 
* SESAME SEEDS €“ 2 tsp.
 
* SESAME OIL €“ 2 tbsp.
 
* OYSTER SAUCE - 4 tbsp.
 
* GROUNDED BLACK PEPPER €“ ¼ tsp.
 
* CHOPPED ONIONS €“ ½ PC.
 
* CHOPPED GARLIC €“ 2 cloves
 
* SLICED GREEN ONION €“ 1 stalk
 
* BROTH CUBE €“ 1 PC. (Vegetable Flavor)
 
* OLIVE OIL €“ 2 tbsp.

Directions

Bring to boil 1Lt. of water with the broth cube, add the rice sticks and cook for 7-8min stirring often avoiding the noodles to stick.

In the meantime, in a large size non-stick frying pan or wok, heat the olive oil and saute the chopped onion and the garlic until golden brown. Add the beef, 2 tbsp. of oyster sauce, the sesame oil and seeds and a pinch of freshly grounded black pepper and cook for 8min.

Once the noodles are cooked add into the pan with the beef within additional 2 tbsp. of oyster sauce and mix well until noodles absorb the flavor. Out of fire, add the green onions, mix and serve.
