Beef Heart Chow Recipe
Ingredients
| Beef heart - 1 pound | ||
| Soy flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Stewed tomatoes | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Paprika | 1 Dash | |
| Brown rice | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Nutritional yeast | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Cube the heart in pieces of one inch.
2.Roll the cubes on flour.
MAKING
3.Heat oil and saute the beef cubes for 5- 10 minutes.
4.Take the meat out.
5.Cook onion and pepper in the same oil.
6.Add the meat and add garlic, tomato sauce, stewes tomatoes, paprika and brown rice.
.Let the ingredients simmer for 35 minutes.
8.Add hot water to avoid sticking.
9.Add yeast and cook further until the rice is tender.
SERVING
10.Serve warm.
