1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
2 pounds boneless beef pot roast, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
2 1/2 cups water
1 medium tomato, cut up
1 6-ounce can tomato paste
3 medium potatoes, finely chopped

Directions
In 3-quart casserole, cook bacon, covered with paper toweling, at HIGH for 5 minutes or till crisp.
Reserve drippings in casserole.
