Easy Beef Fondue Recipe

Ingredients
2 to 2 1/2 pounds boneless beef sirloin or tenderloin
Melted butter and salad oil
Dipping sauce and butters
Directions
Cut the meat into bite-sized cubes and refrigerate until about 15 to 20 minutes before serving time.
Pour the melted butter and salad oil (equal amounts of each) into a Fondue Bourguignonne pot or an electric frying pan to a depth of 1 1/2 to 2 inches.
Heat just below the smoking point (about 425° in electric frying pan).
When guests are seated and the butter-oil mixture reaches the correct temperature, start cooking.
Each guest spears a cube of beef with a fork and holds it in the hot butter-oil until cooked, about 1 to 2 minutes. (Caution guests not to taste meat while on the hot cooking forks.)
