Beef Cabbage And Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 tablespoons special oil | ||
| Cooked rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs), chilled | |
| 3/4 pound lean top round | ||
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| 1/2 cup julienne-cut green pepper | ||
| 1-1/2 cups shredded Chinese cabbage or sliced celery | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet: saute the rice 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Keep warm while preparing the beef.
Cut the beef in very narrow strips and toss with the soy sauce.
Heat the remaining oil in a skillet; add the undrained beef; cook over high heat 1 minute, stirring steadily.
Add the onions, green pepper, cabbage and pepper.
Cook over medium heat 5 minutes.
Heap the rice on a platter and cover with the beef mixture.
