Beef Burgers in Red Wine Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

| 350 g/12 oz Minced beef | ||
| 50 g/2 oz Fresh white breadcrumbs | ||
| 15 ml/1 tbsp Choppedparsley | ||
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| 45 ml/3 tbsp Oil | ||
| 376 g/13 1/4 oz can Homepride | ||
| Red Wine Cook-in-Sauce | ||
| Sprig of watercress, to garnish | ||
Directions
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Mix together the onion, minced beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Divide the mixture into 8 and shape into burgers.
Heat the oil in a medium-sized pan and fry the burgers for 7 minutes until brown, turning once.
Drain off the oil, add the Red Wine Cook-in-Sauce, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve on rice or with creamed potatoes and garnish with watercress.
