Beef Au Jus Recipe
Ingredients
| Eye, or rump, roast - 3-lb. | ||
| Dry au jus gravy mix - 1 pkg. | ||
| Garlic powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Onion powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper - 1/4-1/2 tsp. | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a slow cooker put the roast.
2) Follow package directions to prepare gravy.
3) Pour it over the roast.
4) Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over it.
5) Cook covered on low for 6 hours.
6) When cooked, remove meat and trim fat.
7) Shred the meat and put into slow cooker. Cook until meat is tender.
8) Add water to cover roast with liquid when returning it to cooker.
SERVING
9) Serve hot.
