Beef And Wild Rice Casserole Recipe
Beef and wild rice casserole is a two rice casserole made with ground beef. Prepared with wild rice and long grained rice, this beef and wild rice casserole has vegetables like celery and onions in it. Baked with mushroom soup, bouillon and garlic for flavor, the beef and wild rice casserole makes a full meal in itself.
Ingredients
2 2/3 cups boiling water
2/3 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed and drained
4 teaspoons Beef-Flavor Instant Bouillon or 4 Beef-Flavor Bouillon Cubes
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
In 2-quart baking dish, combine water, wild rice and bouillon; set aside.
In large skillet, brown meat; pour off fat.
Stir in celery, onion and garlic; cook until tender.
Add soup, long grain rice and pepper.
Add meat mixture to wild rice mixture; mix well.
Cover.
Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
