Beef And Mushroom Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon coarsely cracked pepper
1 1/2 pounds lean beef round or chuck, cut in 1-inch pieces
Boiling water
12 to 16 mushroom caps
Directions
Mix oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic, pepper, and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
Add beef pieces.
Cover and refrigerate overnight; turn meat occasionally.
Pour boiling water over mushrooms.
Let stand a few minutes; drain.
Thread meat and mushrooms on skewers.
Grill over hot coals till meat is desired doneness; allow 15 minutes for medium-rare; turn often.
