 Reduced-sodium soy sauce2 Tablespoon
 Brown sugar2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Cornstarch2 Teaspoon
 Vegetable oil4 1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Beef tenderloin1 Pound, cut into rectangles about 1/4 inch thick and 1 inch long
 Broccoli head1 (Use The Broccoli Florets)
 Mushrooms4 , wiped clean with a damp cloth and sliced
 Garlic1 Clove (5 gm), minced to make 1 teaspoon
 Minced fresh ginger root2 Teaspoon, or finely grated
 Dry sherry1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
 Snow peas2 Ounce, blanched in boiling water for 30 seconds and drained
 Sliced water chestnuts1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)


1) In a bowl add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, cornstarch, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of the vegetable oil. Whisk the ingredients together.
2) Add beef and toss to coat each piece.
3) Chill and keep covered for 30 minutes up to 8 hours.
4) In a large nonstick pan heat 1 teaspoon of oil over high heat.
5) Add beef and stir-fry for 1 minute till brown on all sides.
6) Using tongs remove the beef from pan.
7) Add remaining oil to the pan and heat.
8) Add broccoli and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes till golden.
9) Add mushrooms and stir-fry for 1 minute.
10) Add garlic and ginger, and cook for 30 seconds.
11) Stir in sherry, remaining soy sauce and brown sugar, snow peas and water chestnuts, and cook for 1 minute till heated.

12) Serve hot.
