Beef And Bean Sprout Stir Fry Recipe

Beef and bean sprouts stir fry is a peppy beef stir fry. Made with spices like ginger and garlic with soy sauce and oyster sauce for added flavor, the beef and bean sprouts stir fry has a little sauce to it. Made with added water chestnuts and green onions, it can be served with fried rice or noodles.

Ingredients

 1 egg white, slightly beaten
 Soy sauce5 Teaspoon, divided
 Cornstarch3 Teaspoon, divided
 Ground ginger1/8 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder1/8 Teaspoon
 Salt1/8 Teaspoon
 Pepper white1 Dash
 3/4 to 1 pound boneless beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
 Cold water1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Oyster sauce1 Tablespoon
 1/2 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
 Oil4 Tablespoon, divided
 Mushrooms1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Green onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Bean sprouts1 Can (10oz), drained
 Water chestnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced

Directions

Blend egg white, 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, ginger, garlic powder, salt and pepper in medium mixing bowl.
Add beef.
Stir to coat.
Cover; refrigerate 30 minutes.
Combine cold water, oyster1 sauce (optional), remaining 3 teaspoons soy sauce, remaining 2 teaspoons cornstarch and bouillon granules in small mixing bowl.
Mix well.
Set aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons Oil in large skillet or wok.
Add beef mixture.
Stir-fry over medium-high heat until beef is browned.
Remove mixture from skillet; set aside.
Heat remaining 2 tablespoons Oil in large skillet.
Add mushrooms and onioti.
Stir-fry over medium-high heat 1 minute.
Add bean sprouts and water chestnuts.
Stir-fry 1 minute.
Add cornstarch mixture and beef.
Cook until thickened and bubbly.
