Bechamel Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon instant minced onion
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup light cream
1/2 cup water
1 cube or teaspoon chicken bouillon
Dash pepper
Directions
In 4-cup measure, combine onion and butter.
Cook, uncovered, 2 minutes.
Stir in flour and remaining ingredients.
Cook, uncovered, 3 minutes, 30 seconds or until mixture boils and thickens.
Cook, uncovered, 2 minutes.
