Ingredients

 
1. Green Beans - 1 cup (Finely chopped),
 
2. Big Onion - 1 (Finely chopped),
 
3. Tomato - 1/2 (Finely chopped),
 
4. Red chilli powder - 2 tsp,
 
5. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp,
 
6. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp(Optional),
 
7. Urad dal - 1 tsp,
 
8. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp,
 
9. Salt - as per taste,
 
10. Oil - for frying,
 
11. Curry leaves - 1 string.

Directions

1. Heat oil in a kadai, add the urad dal and mustard and let it splutter.
2. Add the onions, curry leaves and saute till transparent. Add the tomatoes and saute.
3. Add the beans, turmeric, chilli, garam masala powder and salt and saute for a min.
4. Cover and cook in medium heat stiring occasionally for 5mins.
5. Uncover and stir and cook till crispy.

Tastes excellent with sambar rice, chappati, roti. Enjoy!
