Beans With Breast Of Lamb Recipe
Ingredients
| Lima beans | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| Water | ||
| 3 pounds breast of lamb, cut into pieces | ||
| Cooking oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 , sliced | |
| Seasoned salt | 1 | |
| Garlic salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
Directions
Cover beans with 4 cups water, bring to boil, and boil for 2 minutes.
Cover pan and let stand for 1 hour.
Brown lamb in oil and put in 3-quart casserole.
Add onion and 1 cup hot water.
Cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 1 hour.
Pour off fat and liquid.
Add beans with bean liquid.
Season meat and beans.
Cover and bake for about 1 1/2 hours longer, adding more water if necessary.
