Beanie Almondine Recipe
Ingredients
| Green beans | 3 Pound | |
| 3 cans French fried onions | ||
| Almonds | 1 Pound, cut in half | |
| Slivered almonds package | 2 | |
| 1 can mushroom soup or cream of celery soup | ||
Directions
Snap off bloom and stem end of beans; cut in half.
Have a pan of water at rolling boil and drop beans in for 3 minutes.
Drain and put in mixing bowl.
Add mushroom soup or cream of celery soup (your choice).
Add almonds.
Mix well.
Pour into casserole dish, 10 x 12 x 2 inch.
Put in 320° oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and add onions on top, about 1/2 inch thick.
Top with slivered almonds.
Place back in oven for 5 minutes; don't let slivered almonds burn.
