Bean Porridge Recipe
Ingredients
| Cooked or canned beans-4 cups, purled | ||
| Canned tomatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs), stewed | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Chili Sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Carrots | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Onions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Potatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Water | 2 Quart | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Mix together beans, tomatoes, bay leaf, parsley and chili sauce.
2) In a pan, cook the remaining vegetables until just tender.
3) Mix together bean-tomato mixture, vegetables, water and salt. Simmer them for 2 hours.
SERVING
5) Serve the bean porridge hot.
