Bean Dip Recipe

Ingredients
2 shallots, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 serrano chili, stemmed, seeded and chopped
2 teaspoons water
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Dash ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
To Microwave: Place shallots, garlic, sugar, chili and 2 teaspoons water in small microwave safe bowl; microwave on HIGH (100% power) 30 to 45 seconds.
Place beans, 2 tablespoons water, cumin, pepper and garlic mixture in food processor or blender; process until smooth.
Transfer bean mixture to small bowl; microwave on HIGH 5 to 8 minutes until hot.
Stir in lemon juice
