Bean And Vegetable Chowder Recipe

1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 envelopes instant chicken, beef or onion broth and seasoning mix
1/2 cup sliced celery and celery tops
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup chopped mixed vegetables (green beans, spinach, zucchini, etc.)
1 medium tomato, diced
1 tablespoon fresh minced parsley
1 teaspoon dehydrated onion flakes
1 clove
1/4 clove garlic
1/4 bay leaf
Dash dried basil or fresh basil leaf
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup cooked lima beans
Directions
In large soup kettle, combine all ingredients except cooked lima beans.
Simmer covered about 50 minutes.
Add lima beans and heat a few minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
