Bean And Pork Chop Bake Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 boneless pork loin chops (1/2 inch thick) | ||
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Tart apple | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Baked beans | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Raisins | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon, divided | |
| 1 tablespoon maple pancake syrup | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a large skillet, brown the pork chops on both sides in oil.
Remove and keep warm.
In the same pan, saute the apple and onion until tender.
Stir in beans, raisins and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon.
Spoon into a greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dish; top with pork chops.
Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
Brush chops with maple syrup; sprinkle with the salt and remaining cinnamon.
Bake, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes or until the meat juices run clear.
